I have sat in over a thousand IEP/504 meetings — many of them complex, contentious, and high-stakes. I know how schools think, where families get lost, and exactly how to ensure your child gets what they need.

"Would this be good enough for my own child? If not, it's not good enough for yours." This question has guided every decision in my 30+ years working in special education — and it still does.

Every child can learn. More than that — every child does learn. My commitment is to work alongside families to connect each child's natural ability to the academic demands the school system places on them.

School Refusal & Avoidance — When getting to school feels impossible, I work with your child and family to understand why and build supports to address the underlying need.
IEP/504 Advocacy — I help families navigate the process, understand their rights, and ensure the school delivers what your child is legally entitled to.
Behavior Support — All behavior is communication. I help identify what need your child is communicating and develop strategies that actually work to address this need.
Executive Functioning — Organization, planning, time management, and follow-through — I help kids build the skills school demands but rarely teaches.
Math — For kids in the middle grades who have hit a wall with numbers — or who are suddenly wondering why letters showed up in math, I find where the gap started and build from there.
Homework Support — When homework becomes a nightly battle, I work with your child and family to change the dynamic and make it manageable.
